The iPAD SP1 is a portable, fully-automatic Automated External Defibrillator (AED) designed to support rapid response during sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). Engineered for ease of use by lay responders and professionals alike, it provides guided, step-by-step visual and voice prompts from initial pads placement through CPR support and shock delivery, minimising hesitation in high-stress emergencies.
Key Features
Automatic Analysis & Shock Delivery
Continuously analyses the patient’s heart rhythm and automatically delivers a shock if a shockable rhythm is detected — no need to press a shock button.
Adult and Child Capability
Dual pre-connected “smart” electrode pads suitable for both adults and children (age 1+). A simple switch enables paediatric mode without pad change — saving crucial time.
Guided Rescue Prompts
Calming, clear voice guidance with illuminated illustrations leads the rescuer through each step of a rescue.
Ambient noise detector automatically increases prompt volume up to ~90 dB in loud environments.
CPR Assistance
Detects whether CPR is being performed and provides a metronome to guide correct compression rate.
Ready-Status & Self-Checks
Daily self-tests monitor operational readiness, with visible indicators for battery and pad life.
Data Storage & Review
Internal memory stores event records for up to 3–15 hours of usage data, with simple data download via SD card for post-incident review.
Rugged, Portable Design
Compact and robust with IP55 dust/water resistance and drop tolerance suitable for public access sites, workplaces, schools, and emergency response vehicles.
Typical weight ~2.4 kg including battery and pads.
Power & Consumables
Uses a disposable lithium manganese dioxide battery with standby life up to ~5 years and included set of adult/child pads.
Warranty & Support
Standard 7-year device warranty (extendable to ~10 years upon registration) with pad and battery warranty terms.
Typical Uses
Ideal for organisations implementing public access defibrillation programmes, first-aid stations, offices, schools, sports centres, emergency response agencies, and community spaces.
